On the edge of the beautiful village of Oostkapelle, 6 luxury holiday apartments and 1 holiday home have been realized in the former De Grote Geere farm.
The Grote Geere farm, with its monumental barn, has undergone various changes / adjustments since 1670. The former farm (with a "bakkeet", wagon house and pigsty) has been converted into a holiday and apartment complex on the basis of original drawings. All accommodations are furnished with antibacterial materials. Attempts have been made to build as sustainably as possible.
The Grote Geere is best described as luxury, comfort, free location in the landscape and yet easily accessible. A great base for beach and forest, the picturesque town of Veere, the cozy Domburg or the beautiful city of Middelburg.

Description
On the ground floor there is an attractive L-shaped living room with a fully equipped open kitchen. The downstairs bedroom has two single beds, a small seating area, its own sink and a shower. The toilet is across the hall. The upstairs bedroom has two single beds and a small seating area. There is also a spacious bathroom with a toilet, a sink, a shower and a bathtub. All sleeping places have box spring beds. There is also a separate baby room.

The former, authentic Zeeland barn offers luxury apartments. There are apartments for four people and a wheelchair-friendly apartment for six people. A cot can be placed in each apartment. There is also an outbuilding with a separate room with a washing machine and a dryer. The Grote Geere has a communal playing field and private parking. Furthermore, each apartment has its own entrance and a terrace. There is also a central, multifunctional common room that can be used to meet, play games, hold meetings or parties.

Oostkapelle is one of the larger villages in the municipality of Veere and is named after a chapel that would have stood here at some point. Oostkapelle borders two beautiful nature areas between Domburg and Vrouwenpolder: Manteling (740 hectares), a wide strip of land with dunes and forest and the Oranjezon dune area (400 hectares). There are also some country estates and the impressive castle of Westhove. The former orangery, Terra Maris, a museum of nature and landscape, is just 750 meters from the beach and has a landscaped 2.5-hectare garden. There is also a museum café and a museum shop.

The rescuers are present from May to September, operating from their first aid station.
