The apartment is located in front of the Accademia Gallery Museum in the San Marco district, a residential neighborhood that takes its name from the church and convent of San Marco, famous in the past for the Pharmacy once managed by the Dominican friars. The inscriptions engraved on stone that list the products on sale are still present on Via Cavour. The nearby Piazza Santissima Annunziata boasts countless stories, including museums, family sagas, works by Brunelleschi including the Spedale degli Innocenti. Under the loggias of the hospital, the famous wheel is still visible where it was possible to anonymously abandon newborns to the care of religious.
