THE RESORT :
The Hameaux des Marines residence is composed of 48 chalets located on 2 hectares.
The chalets are equipped with: a kitchen with electric hotplates, refrigerator, microwave/grill and dishwasher, a living room with sofa bed, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and washbasin, toilets and a terrace with outdoor furniture.

Discover the typical villages of the island: Boyardville, Saint Trojan, La Cotinière, Saint Pierre and the Château d'Oléron, but also the Chassiron lighthouse, Fort Boyard, the oyster farms, the salt marshes, the marshes and the bird sanctuaries
Numerous outdoor activities are available nearby: horseback riding, canoeing/kayaking, windsurfing, sea fishing, cruises to the islands and La Rochelle, scuba diving, surfing...
Description of the area
On the west coast of the Island of Oleron, the residence is located in a quiet area, 300 m from the Atlantic Ocean, close to the village and the port. Renowned for its wonderful sandy beaches, its enchanting nature and its mild climate, the island offers to all its visitors: sportsmen, families, young or old, a multitude of leisure activities, in particular its numerous bicycle paths, its gastronomy: oysters and seafood, a rich heritage including the unavoidable Fort Boyard. A few examples of the many possibilities that our expert team will be happy to submit to you, according to your desires.
Each COTTAGE of 35 m² is composed of :
- A room with 1 double bed (140x190) and a closet
- A bedroom with 2 single bunk beds (80x190) and closet
- A living room with a table and chairs, and 1 sofa bed 2pl. (140X190)
- A flat screen TV (48 cm) with TNT and foreign channels
- An American kitchen fitted and equipped in the living room (4 electric hotplates, extractor fan, dishwasher, sink, microwave oven, refrigerator (with freezer), crockery and kitchen utensils, electric coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster*)
- A bathroom with shower, basin, large mirror, hair dryer*.

We spent a pleasant stay, in the peace. The hamlet of the marines is nestled in a green area. The swimming pool is not very big and it lacks a little space around but it remains very pleasant to swim there. The children's games are old and did not attract my children. And the beach at 300m was invaded by algae...better to choose another beach to enjoy the seaside
