At the entrance to the resort of Super Besse, in the heart of a wooded environment, the residence Le Bois de la Reine, enjoys a superb view of the Sancy massif.
Located in a quiet area, 800m from the centre of the resort and the first mountain bike rentals, this residence, nestled in beautiful wooded vegetation, is ideal for relaxing holidays centred on nature.
The accommodation is organised in small hamlets composed of chalets with 6 to 8 apartments linked together by pedestrian paths. All apartments are comfortable and well equipped.
This family residence also has a heated outdoor swimming pool and a sauna for a privileged moment of relaxation as well as 2 petanque playgrounds set up in the middle of the chalets.
A games room is accessible during the opening hours of the reception (billiards, pinball machines, table football) as well as a lounge with sofas and coffee tables.
Board games are available free of charge at the reception desk. Wifi Internet access at the reception.
All the apartments will bring you comfort and warmth. Fully equipped, they all have a television, a fitted kitchen (dishwasher, microwave...), a sofa bed... You can also relax by enjoying a terrace (for the apartments on the ground floor) or a balcony and a wooded area.

So yes, the seasonal apartments are small, but here ...... the adults' bedroom with 2 twin beds is okay, but you can't even put them together because the headboards are fixed to the wall! You can't even open the door all the way because the bed is in the way! Unnecessary electrical outlets placed under the beds or in the middle of the room for the only bedside lamp! A HUGE entrance hall but a living room that makes for a tiny sleeping area! The 4 pillows are unusable because they're more like patties, and the beds and pillows have no undersheet! Would you like a toaster or hairdryer? No problem, just ask at reception and they'll lend it to you: a good point, but why not put them in the accommodation? Would you like to clean with a vacuum cleaner? No problem, 30 minutes free of charge OR hire for a fee !!!!! Unluckily for us, a smell was coming up through the siphons ........ we mentioned it to reception to try and solve the problem, but we didn't even know if anyone had been there to even put in a drain cleaner! The Vival supermarket has the merit of existing, but the prices ....... are prohibitive! The residence is ideally located at the entrance to the resort, with a free shuttle bus stop right in front!

for reasons of economy, it would be preferable to have more crockery (cutlery, plates and glasses) as the dishwasher runs at half-full. the bedroom bedding needs to be reviewed (why 2 single beds and not one double bed). the quality of the mattress is poor. it would be nice to have a mini oven and a small set of garden furniture.

Disappointed with my stay, very small apartment fortunately there were only 2 of us. 0 equipment, everything has to be paid for, even the toaster. Unheated pool and sauna out of order, after a good hike I would have liked to relax but unfortunately impossible, we were told that the heating was too expensive, but given the price of the rental frankly. I would have liked to know before renting the apartment because I would have been in another residence. I don't recommend it.
