THE RESIDENCE
The "Orelle 3 Vallées" residence is located in "Le Hameau des Eaux d'Orelle", a 15-minute walk from Le Francoz near the Val Thorens gondola.
The "Résidence Orelle 3 Vallées***" is a 3-star tourist residence built between 2007 and 2011, comprising 8 separate "chalets". Built in a traditional Savoyard architectural style, the residence comprises 111 fully-equipped apartments, suitable for families (2-8 people) and groups.
All apartments are equipped with TV, wifi access and balcony or terrace.
The shuttle will be operational only from December 23, 2023 to March 29, 2024.

Our apartment was located on the ground floor and had the unpleasant disadvantage of being in the way and in full view of everyone. We were therefore unable to enjoy any natural light at all. The only bay window, for example, could be lined to let in natural light without being seen from halfway up, and then mirrored so that we could at least see the sky. Coming to the mountains and finding yourself as if you were in the city and couldn't see the sky is a bit frustrating. The value for money isn't there at all.

The Negatives: The previous tenant smoked in the room The couch had a cigarette hole burned in The douche was with a douche curtain and not glass (as shown on the example pictures). The bunk bed was not secured to the wall. Which is not safe, comfortable. Internet to slow to stream. Stairs from reception towards spa. Carpet needs maintenance, cleaning. SPA, swimming pool etc is ok. Except the showers need maintenance (kit needs to be redone) Swimming pool. They should add some big poster at the white wall with a picture of snowy mountains or a deer or something else typically related to mountains. The Positives Kitchen was clean and all tools there. Very quiet Spa is a plus Overall: It was cheap (so i guess i got the cheap room) but the pictures looked more promising.
