Property for exclusive use
In the gentle landscape of the Chianti Sienese hills lies Torreantica, whose origins date back to the 13th century when it was a watchtower dominating the roads and estates of the Lords of the valley. Centuries have passed since then, but the gentle landscape, now famous the world over, has not changed. Today, it's a beautiful, comfortable villa with outbuildings where groups of friends can spend their vacations, alternating relaxation with cultural excursions in this corner of Tuscany, of which Siena is the center. Its restoration has brought out the old features such as wooden beams, terracotta floors and brick arches. The villa is set in a beautiful meadow that slopes down to vineyards and olive groves, all surrounded by woods and cypresses, still present today. In the meadow, further down from the villa, is the swimming pool (6x13 prof. 1.2-2.5 m) (01/05-30/09); the garden is well equipped with an outdoor breakfast and barbecue area. The villa is equipped with central heating, cot, washing machine and Wi fi internet connection. Included in the price are 2 hours/day of cleaning (Monday to Saturday). On request and payable on site, additional hours of cleaning, wine tasting in the cellar, airport transfers, massages, cooking classes, yoga classes, cook, baby sitter. Parking on the property.
PLEASE NOTE: The villa can accommodate a maximum of 12 people (including children). Only small pets are allowed. Non-smoking accommodation. Not all rooms have air-conditioning. The gardener lives in an apartment in the villa with completely independent access. Arrivals must take place between 16:00 and 19:00. Departures no later than 09:00.
INTERIORS: (500 m2) West wing: living room/library with fireplace and kitchenette (air-conditioned). 1st floor: 2 double bedrooms (air-conditioned), 2 bathrooms with shower (one without window).
Central wing (tower) Ground floor: spacious corridor, large living room with arcades, equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower. 1st floor: double bedroom (air-conditioned), bathroom with shower. 2nd floor: living room with fireplace and satellite TV. 3rd floor: living room/office, double bedroom (air-conditioning), bathroom with shower.
East wing: ground floor: sitting area with sofas. 1st floor: 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with shower.
DISTANCES: Pianella (grocery stores) 6 km, Castello di Brolio and Gaiole in Chianti 14 km, Radda in Chianti 20 km, Siena 22 km, Rapolano thermal baths 33 km, San Gimignano 51 km, Florence 84 km.
