Beautiful, comfortable old barn immersed in the typical green Tuscan countryside near Montelupo Fiorentino, a small town renowned for its ceramics and terracotta, in an ideal location for excursions. Florence is just 20 minutes away by car, and in less than an hour you can reach the main cultural and artistic destinations of Tuscany, such as San Miniato, Pisa, Siena, Volterra, Monteriggioni and San Gimignano. The restoration of this former barn has preserved its original architectural features, such as local stone, exposed beams and terracotta-paved floors, while adding the most modern comforts. The interior is warm and inviting, enriched by typical Montelupo ceramics and knick-knacks. Outside, guests can relax in the spacious veranda equipped with chairs, deckchairs, table and barbecue, the ideal place for sunbathing or dining al fresco. The infinity pool (10.5x7.50 m; depth 1.20-1.40 m) (4/05-28/09, open 9am-9pm) with jacuzzi area (diam. 2m) is in a panoramic position, offering splendid views over the Tuscan countryside. The accommodation is equipped with central heating, Wifi Internet, cot and highchair (on request at time of booking), satellite TV with DVD player, alarm system, safe and 1 basket of firewood included. On request, additional change of linen and domestic help, baby-sitting service, cook, cooking lessons, bike hire.
Covered parking for 2 cars on the property.
PLEASE NOTE: pets accepted at an extra charge of 100 euros/pet/week. Arrivals must take place between 3pm and 7pm. For arrivals after 7pm, a supplement of 50 euros/hour will be charged. All arrivals outside these times must be notified and agreed in advance.
The security deposit will be returned within 2 days of departure with Paypal.
