Property for exclusive use
Typical stone house with a total surface area of around 500 m2 with 8 double bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, capable of comfortably accommodating 16 people. The villa boasts spacious outdoor areas, a private swimming pool, an area equipped for outdoor lunches, Wi fi internet, satellite Tv, air conditioning in the first-floor bedrooms: it's the ideal solution for a vacation with family or friends.
Outdoor areas and swimming pool
The large space surrounding the house makes it an excellent choice for those wishing to spend a relaxing vacation with children free to play in the garden. The house is set in a large, mainly lawned garden, enriched by tall trees that create naturally shaded areas. The private, illuminated swimming pool is located on a lower terrace than the house; it measures 6x12 with a depth varying from 1.2 to 2.2 meters; it is accessible from 09:00 to 19:00. Its perimeter is paved and equipped with sunbeds, parasols and a cold-water shower. On one side of the house, guests can also use a paved portico equipped with wrought-iron benches for pleasant moments of relaxation. A rustic barbecue is also available in a corner of the garden, ideal for outdoor lunches. Parking is available inside the property.
Interiors
Villa Donatella dates back to 1629 and was a farmhouse with stables on the first floor until the late 90s, when the owners took charge of restructuring it, preserving where possible the original sandstone floors (Firenzuola's "pietra serena"), exposed beams and original stone sink. The rooms have been furnished in the old rural style of the late 19th/early 20th century. The interiors are arranged over two floors. The first floor opens onto 2 vast living rooms with satellite TV, sofas and armchairs; they are separated by stone arches, with two fireplaces, one of which is very large with a built-in wood-burning oven; next door is a reading room, a room with table soccer, the dining room, a large fully-equipped kitchen and a secondary bathroom. Also on the first floor, accessible from the outside, is a 2-bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower (accessed via a small staircase). The second floor comprises 1 double bedroom with four-poster bed and bathroom with bathtub, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower, 3 twin bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms sharing 3 bathrooms with shower located at the end of the corridor.

The house is situated in a panoramic and tranquil position, on the green hills of Mugello, north of Florence.

The house is equipped with central heating, air conditioning in the first-floor bedrooms, cot, Wi fi internet connection and parking.
Services
Included in the price: household linen for bathroom, bed and kitchen (with weekly change), electricity, water, final cleaning, internet connection and cot. Housekeeper, cook, cooking lessons, baby sitter, highchair rental and pool towels are available on request and payable on site. Possibility of buying typical products (fresh vegetables from the garden, seasonal fruit, extra-virgin olive oil, jams, honey, nuts, wine) and enjoying typical Mugello dishes and recipes.
Important information
The swimming pool is open from 1/5 to 30/9. Arrivals must be between 3 pm and 7 pm. Access to the property via a 2 km dirt road, part of which runs through a wood. Only small pets are allowed. A secured credit card must be presented on arrival. Electric car recharging available on request (against payment). For private events, a minimum stay of 3 nights is required.
