Property for exclusive use
Comfortable, welcoming stone farmhouse located just a few kilometers from Todi, a famous little town built by the Etruscans between the 3rd and 1st centuries B.C. and overlooking the Tiber valley. The nearby village of Montecastello, in addition to offering grocery stores, boasts a renowned historical heritage, such as its 19th-century theater, reputed to be the smallest in the world. The location is ideal for exploring Umbria: Spoleto, Perugia, Orvieto, Assisi, Todi, Spello, Foligno and the main Umbrian lakes such as Lake Bolsena, Lake Trasimeno, Lake Corbara and Lake Piediluco are all within a 60 km radius. The villa was built in 1992 in the rustic style of typical country houses, giving the place the charm of the atmosphere of yesteryear, with the use, where possible, of antique materials such as terracotta paving and exposed beams. The property comprises the main house and an outbuilding a few meters away. The outdoor spaces are characterized by a beautiful meadow planted with olive trees, and along a paved driveway you'll find the swimming pool (10x5m; depth 1.20 m)(08/05-30/09) featuring a gazebo with dining table and stone barbecue. The accommodation is equipped with central heating and air-conditioning only in the bedrooms on the 1st floor of the main house, cot, highchair and WiFi Internet access.
