Torre del Cielo is a splendid villa that grew out of an ancient watchtower dating back to the 17th century, successively enlarged and transformed into a farmhouse. Restored in Tuscan style, it is now an ideal vacation villa for large families or groups of friends who love the Tuscan countryside. Overlooking the valley, it is close to the village of Monterchi, where a small museum preserves "La Madonna del Parto", the famous painting by Piero della Francesca. Next to the villa is a well-kept garden with roses and other flowering plants. A little higher up is the swimming pool (12x6m; depth 1.50m) (01/05-29/09 open from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.) with adjoining heated Jacuzzi pool (on request and with surcharge payable locally). A beautiful gazebo is perfectly equipped for pleasant meals outside, overlooking the panorama. Included in the price: welcome buffet, wine tasting, excursion to the Tiber Valley with the owner. All rooms have air conditioning and all bathrooms have hairdryers. Wifi Internet access. Comfortable furnishings. Central heating. Parking on the property.
