The resort
Located in the department of Aude, Port-la Nouvelle, benefits from an ideal location between the Gates of the Cathar country, the garrigue and the Mediterranean Sea. With its 15 km of sandy beach, this seaside resort also offers you to discover the cities of Perpignan and Narbonne nearby. For your leisure, you will find a casino, a discotheque (free entrance all year long from 11:30 pm). In season, many sports and leisure activities are offered: horse and pony riding, mini-golf, sailing school, beach club, tennis, beach gym, hiking and cycling, restaurants, all shops and services. The beach is 10 km long with Blue Flag. For nature lovers, the residence is located next to 2 protected sites: Sainte Lucie Island, a regional nature reserve of 825 hectares. And the Domaine de Frescati, which you can discover during your hikes. The Robine canal is a UNESCO world heritage site. For water sports enthusiasts, Port La Nouvelle offers 15 km of white sandy beach with an average of 250 days of sunshine each year. You can also walk from the port and discover the coastline in a different way. The region also offers many visits more focused on its history with the Whale Museum in Port la Nouvelle, the birthplace of Charles Trenet in Narbonne, the Archaeological Museum in Narbonne, the Tautavel Museum for an afternoon under the sign of prehistory, the Model and Toy Museum in Valras-Plage to rediscover Lego and K'nex, the Museum of Natural History in Perpignan or the Museum of Aviation in Perpignan
The establishment
The Village Club Marin benefits from a privileged location, situated at 700m from the beaches (about 10 mn walk) through the scrubland or 1200m by the road. The center of the resort is 900m away, but you will find a supermarket and a newsagent's opposite the Village Club Marin, 2 minutes away. The Village Club Marin is composed of villas for up to 8 people grouped around 2 large outdoor swimming pools (one of which is heated, 190m²) and 2 children's pools. There is also a children's playground, a multi-sports field, a bowling alley, 3 tennis courts (free of charge) and table tennis. The whole is embellished with a small pond. Parking area at the entrance of the village. In July and August: snack bar, take-away food, pizzeria, theme evenings (2 to 3 per week) with supplement.
In summer: an animator will propose you to participate in sports tournaments and will advise you on your hikes in the region.
In summer: Children's club 6-11 years old (5 half-days per week, olympiads, shows, treasure hunts.)
In summer: Sports and evening activities, shows, for teenagers and adults. One to two theme evenings per week (with participation).

All accommodations are fully equipped, with a kitchenette (dishwasher, microwave oven, ceramic hob), a bathroom, separate toilet (toilet and washbasin on the first floor for the 4 rooms), terrace with garden furniture, sufficient crockery and blankets and pillows. TV included all season
3 rooms for 6 persons in duplex, 57m² approx. : Living room with sofa bed for 2 persons, 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each or sometimes 1 double bed (one of the bedrooms or both are on the first floor*).
* The stairs leading to the first floor are in Japanese steps.

We had a lovely stay. The children loved the vacation home! The house is top notch, although the stairs are not easy for small children or people of a certain age, but for us it was fine. Plenty of facilities ( laundry, two swimming pools with two small ponds, playground, petanque and tennis ) . It's a shame we went at the end of April and beginning of May, so the pool was too warm for me (24°C) and heated. The holiday village is next to the super U and the municipal swimming pool, but the beach is a bit far to walk to. I recommend this place. But it must be very busy in summer.

Staying in this village is very pleasant with its heated swimming pool, the supermarket at a stone's throw and the seaside and its beaches/restaurants at 15 minutes on foot. We were a little disappointed! but it is true that we are more used to 4 or 5 stars in mobile homes. Les - : 3-star residence. The 2 room apartment was quite large but not very clean at the arrival, the sofa bed mattress was full of stains with a very thin sheet that has no waterproof side (to really review!). The animations are average. To know: Port la nouvelle is a station with a lot of wind.... The pluses: a dishwasher in the apartment, a Super U at "normal" prices just next door and above all a magnificent fine sandy beach a quarter of an hour away on foot....
