Property for exclusive use
Villa Stefano is an old Tuscan farmhouse that can accommodate up to 15 people with 6 double bedrooms, 2 sofa beds, 1 extra bed in one of the bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The villa is completely fenced in, and with independent access it enjoys total privacy. The outbuilding and pergola are equipped with a wood-burning oven and a barbecue for dining together. The villa is ideal for large families or groups of friends who wish to relax in the large park or at the swimming pool, or use the SPA wellness center located on the adjacent property.
Outdoor areas and swimming pool
In the large, well-kept meadow you'll find the swimming pool, which measures 16 x 8 and is 1.2 m deep, with a solarium terrace equipped with garden furniture and an external shower. Opposite the pool is a characteristic outbuilding with spacious living room with fireplace, dining room with fully-equipped kitchen that also includes a wood-burning oven for pizza, and a covered loggia with tables, chairs and barbecue, ideal for preparing meals and dining all together al fresco. The lake and tennis court (shared with another villa) can be reached via a footpath inside the estate.
Interiors
The farmhouse has been carefully restored using stone, with beamed ceilings and antique Tuscan furnishings. The villa is divided into two apartments, characterized by a day zone on the first floor and a night zone on the second floor.
(apartment 1): On the first floor is the living room with dining area, satellite TV, cooking area with fireplace and two single sofa beds, a small sitting room with direct access to the garden, a bathroom with shower. On the second floor there are 2 double bedrooms, one of which has a bathroom with shower, 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower.
(apartment 2): On the first floor there is a living area, a dining room with cooking area from which there is direct access to the garden, 1 bathroom with shower. On the second floor are 2 double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with 1 additional single bed, 1 bathroom with shower.
In the outbuilding located in the center of the garden and entirely on the first floor, we find a large room with fully equipped kitchen, wood-burning oven and external loggia furnished with tables and chairs for outdoor lunches.
Location
The estate extends over approximately 66 hectares, between woods and cultivated fields in the Casentino area, an area rich in history, such as the sanctuaries of La Verna and Camaldoli.
Facilities
The villa is equipped with wifi internet connection, central heating, on-property parking and SPA wellness center located in the adjacent property.
Services
Included in the price are household linen for bathroom, bed and kitchen (with weekly change), towels for the pool, internet connection, wood for the barbecue, daily cleaning of the pool and garden, maintenance of tennis equipment, electricity, water and gas consumption, highchair and cot, use of the tennis court and lake for fishing (equipment not provided), use of the organic vegetable garden inside the property, nature trail on foot. On request and payable on site, we can organize cooking classes, dinners, weddings, housekeeping, baby sitter, wellness treatments (Jacuzzi, indoor saltwater pool, chromotherapy, sauna) in the SPA next to the villa (available only on prior reservation).
Important information
Check-in must take place between 3pm and 8pm. Check-out by 9am at the latest. Swimming pool open from 01/04 to 01/11. The SPA is open from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm and can accommodate up to 8 people for a fee. Access to the Spa is only permitted for people over 16.
Activities and distances
The property offers a wide range of activities: tennis, trekking in the woods, bicycles, fishing, wellness trails; it can also be an excellent starting point for excursions to discover the gastronomy and typical products of small Casentino villages and monasteries such as the Vallombrosa Abbey, the Camaldoli Hermitage and the Verna Sanctuary. Numerous excursions are also possible in the Casentino Park, and the cities of Arezzo and Florence are within easy reach.
