The cottage is located in Marcillac la Croisille (village of 830 inhabitants with all shops, pharmacy, medical office) the chalet overlooks the lake and the beach is only 5 minutes walk away, the area is very quiet with a few houses.
Outside a cellar, a barbecue and a terrace with garden table will be at your disposal.
Inside, on the ground floor, you will find an American kitchen with living room and fireplace, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with WC. A magnificent log staircase will lead you to the first floor; you will find a mezzanine with a 140 bed, two bedrooms each with a 140 bed and the second with a 90 bed.
Tourist attractions in the surroundings:gorges de la Dordogne seen on TV in the program Des racines et des ailes, château de Sédières, viaduct du rocher noir and its Himalayan footbridge ,cascades de Gimel, cascades de Murel, tours de Merle, medieval farm, President Chirac's museum, Canal des Moines, Ardoisières de Travassac, Collonge la rouge, Curemonte, Turenne (villages classified among the most beautiful villages in France), a little further afield from Padirac, Rocamadour ,Martel and its steam train

In Marcillac on the lake fishing for carnivores and carp, beach 2 minutes walk with its sailing base, water skiing, canoeing, tree climbing, archery
In Clergoux 5 Km: castle of Sédieres, shows for young children with concerts and operas, mountain biking all levels with 11 marked routes In Autumn come and listen to the deer, go for walks in the forest and pick mushrooms, chestnut chanterelles
In winter, come and enjoy the ski resorts of Mont Dore ,super besse 1h drive away: DRAPS NOT PROVIDED
