Le California, with its exceptional green setting, will provide you with the cocktail of relaxation you need for a successful vacation. You'll find a relaxing, family atmosphere:

Presentation
LE CALIFORNIA campsite opens its doors at the beginning of April. It offers bare pitches with electricity for tents or caravans, and a variety of accommodation (fitted tents, chalets, mobile homes) in a wooded area. The water park has 4 pools, 2 outdoor and 2 indoor, a fun zone with water games and a pirate ship, and 3 slides. Only adult dogs weighing less than 6 kg will be accepted. We would be grateful if you could surrender any pets that do not meet our criteria before coming to stay at the campsite.
Services, leisure activities and entertainment
Every day in July and August, you can come and quench your thirst and eat throughout the day. Sandwiches, French fries, takeaways, crêpes, ice creams etc. are also available. In the morning, bread and pastries are available for breakfast. You'll find everyday products, so you won't have to go running.
The notorious chore of running errands during the vacation season is something to be forgotten, isn't it !!!! Throughout the day, you'll be able to take part in sporting activities such as aquagym, water polo, pétanque, basketball and soccer tournaments... In the morning, a fitness session in the swimming pool awaits the most courageous.
During July and August, an activity leader will welcome your children aged 5 to 12 free of charge from Monday to Friday morning. Activities include treasure hunts, games, crafts, sports tournaments and more...... Young and old will be delighted to meet up in the games room to play billiards, table soccer and air field hockey. Outside, there's a playground, a multi-sports field (with soccer and basketball) and a ping-pong table for sports enthusiasts. Petanque fans can enjoy the boulodrome. And let's not forget the aperitif, an opportunity to shake a leg around the pool for the famous campsite dance !!!!!!!!This year, the campsite has innovated by offering pedal go-karts for hire. You'll have lots of fun getting around the campsite.
Description of the region
A lively, colorful resort center and an endless sandy beach make Saint Jean de Monts a renowned seaside resort. The deep-rooted origins of the region lie in the middle of the Marais Breton Vendéen.
This is where the modest thatched cottages, known as bourrines, are built.
This vast mosaic of wet meadows and polders, mills and bourrines, invites you to enjoy pleasant walks. A land of traditions and a preserved natural environment, this ecologically rich region is a veritable living museum.
The mobile home is recent, well-equipped and less than 7 years old. It comprises a main room (with a kitchenette, a dining area and a sitting area with sofa and TV), 4 bedrooms including 2 with a 140 cm-wide bed for 2 people and 2 other bedrooms with 2 80 cm-wide beds, a WC and a shower room. It opens onto a semi-covered wooden terrace (table and chairs).

Very good mobile home, new and very clean, very shaded terrace and very quiet with few close neighbors. Very nice swimming pools too. The only thing that bothered us was the fact that there was no bread in the small grocery store on the campsite (1st bakery over 1 km away) and also that there was no entertainment at the end of June (one evening a week would be nice!).

A stay at the top! Friendly and available staff, the security in the evening is also great! An irreproachable cleanliness on all the camp, swimming pool perfectly adapted to each one (small and large, swimmers or not) the surveillance of the lifeguards is well present and do not hesitate to set up a sporting activity in music for the swimmers in a snap of fingers, more than pleasantly surprised. The climate, the proximity to the stores and the beaches, everything is perfect! The only drawback is that the evening entertainment at the campsite is not so good, we had to go out into town every time. The mini-market is not the best I've ever known during a stay but it has a minimum that's something. The quality/price ratio is there, that's for sure! We had an excellent stay, I recommend it, I'm a fussy person, especially when it comes to children, and I was able to have peace of mind during the vacations. Thank you to the whole team! We will come back again!
