Le Dôme de Carpe Diem invites you to live intensely in the moment, in direct contact with nature. This unique round timber-framed house seems to sit like a tree house overlooking the treetops on the Jurançon hillsides, facing the Pyrenees mountain range. Gîte sleeps 6/7. Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, induction hob, oven and microwave, fridge-freezer).
Living room, sitting area (TV), storeroom (washing machine). 1 bedroom (1 x 160cm bed) with en-suite bathroom (shower, bath, wc). 1 bedroom (1 x 160cm bed) with connecting bathroom (shower, wc). Upstairs: 1 bedroom (2 beds 90 + 1 extra bed 90). Shower room/wc. Electric heating extra.
Possibility of connecting electric car to standard domestic exterior socket (slow charge).
Enclosed sloping grounds 1.4 ha, woods and meadows (1 donkey), panoramic terrace facing the mountains.
Garden furniture, electric barbecue. Beds made for your arrival and towels provided. Internet connection with 4G WIFI mini-box, 10 GB per week (standard browsing). Recharging charge beyond €10 / 5 GB recharging.
The slopes of the property and the fine cable safety railings on the terrace are not suitable for small children, who will need to be supervised.
A permaculture orchard-garden and a donkey on the property require the owner's regular presence to tend the crops, prune the fruit trees, collect the vegetables and fruit produced (which are generally shared with the gîte's occupants when the season permits) and look after the donkey.
