"Agay is a paradise where even the dust is perfumed... Antoine de Saint-Exupéry already knew how to translate the beauty of the place. Between the Cap Dramont and the Pointe de la Baumette, Agay is the natural gateway to the Esterel.
Agay, located in one of the most beautiful bays on the coast between Cap Dramont and Pointe de la Baumette, is the natural gateway to the Esterel. It offers three fine sandy beaches and a terraced area with access to the sea through the rocks. Very sheltered, it was appreciated by sailors (Agay means "favorable" in Greek). With the arrival of the railroad in 1860, many artists stopped over in Agay: the painter Louis Valtat, the composer Vincent d'Indy, the writers Guy de Maupassant and Maurice Donnay stayed there as well as Saint-Exupéry (don't miss the Fountain for the Little Prince, built in his honor). Albert Cohen set part of the action of Belle du Seigneur there.
Well sheltered between Cap Dramont and the Pointe de la Baumette, the bay of Agay is a natural gateway to the Esterel massif.
Its configuration makes it a very popular place for sailors (Agay means "favorable" in Greek). You will appreciate its three fine sandy beaches, the summit of Rastel and its red rocks, dominating the bay and offering a breathtaking panorama.
Agay also has a small harbor area with 166 berths, some of which are available for reception, as well as an organized mooring area.

- The Ile des Vieilles, a small islet off Cap Roux, accessible by boat or by swimming.
- The Isle of Gold, which inspired Hergé's Black Island with its guard tower.
