No need for a car in the resort! Central Argentière offers a lovely range of French-style eateries, affordable cafes, grocery shops and resort amenities. The Les Grands Montets ski cable-car is only an 8 minutes’ walk away.
Situated only 15-20 minutes’ by car, train or bus from Chamonix, Argentière is one of the best-loved Alpine resorts, being at the foot of Les Grands Montets (a vast, varied area offering a wide range of pistes and extensive powder fields for off-piste enthusiasts).
Ideal for both winter sports and summertime stays, the breath-taking scenery and fantastic range of outdoor leisure pursuits make this an inviting year-round destination. Very nice apartment, very well located at the entrance of the city, very nicely decorated and well arranged, with a breathtaking view of Mont-Blanc! Quiet residence, with services (laundry for example) that we have not tested... Only one small downside: the upper rooms on the mezzanine, perfect for children, are a little low on the ceiling for adults!

The apartment is pleasant, quiet and well located, with shops nearby and access to the cable car right next door. The parking and the ski room in the basement are very practical. As far as equipment is concerned, there are still some improvements to be made; a lack of lighting in the bathroom and the bedrooms, the closing of the velux curtain is a bit difficult to do, and the kitchen equipment needs to be improved (colander to be changed, poor quality toaster...)
