La Chesnays is a small, quiet, flowery and shady campsite, close to nature and far from stress, ideal for relaxation and discovery of the region.
We are located in the heart of the preserved nature of the Médoc, close to the beaches and vineyards.
Presentation
Located in the peninsula of the Médoc, between the Gironde estuary, the Ocean, and the tip of the Verdon, five minutes from the huge sandy beaches of the Côte d'Argent, at the edge of the forest.
La Chesnays, is a small 4* family campsite with 65 pitches, flowered and shaded, with a heated swimming pool, close to nature and far from stress, ideal for relaxation and discovery of the region.
La Chesnays is particularly suitable for people looking for quietness and a nice environment, for families with young children, for couples, for sportsmen (no animations).

On the spot in self-service:
- Heated swimming pool of 6 x 12 m open from May to September (depending on weather conditions) and solarium of 300 m² with deckchair and relaxation chair
- Children's playground (trampoline, swing, slide, turnstile)

- Self-service charcoal barbecues in a specific area of the campsite

But also nearby, the Gironde estuary and its small ports, the Cordouan lighthouse, the Médoc port, the Pointe du Verdon, the châteaux and their wines, the Hourtin lake, Soulac, Royan, the Blaye citadel, Bordeaux, the Arcachon basin...
