Property for exclusive use
Characteristic stone house, divided into 3 apartments on two floors, very comfortable and able to accommodate 10 people with its 4 double bedrooms, 2 single sofa beds and 4 bathrooms. Completely independent, it boasts spacious outdoor areas equipped for alfresco dining, barbecue, wood-burning oven and panoramic swimming pool with solarium terrace.
Outdoor areas and pool
The residence is surrounded by a cultivated park with a natural lawn, characterized by various earthworks, from which have emerged corners and shaded areas equipped for relaxing al fresco, with stone barbecue for grilling and wood-burning oven. Situated in a sunny position, the swimming pool, which measures 10x5 with a depth varying from 1.10 to 1.70 meters, is paved with stone on the outside and features an external shower. Parking is available inside the property.
Interiors
The property is made up of 3 non-communicating apartments, all furnished in perfect Tuscan rustic style. The largest apartment, accessible via an external staircase, is on the second floor and comprises a kitchen, dining room, small study, double bedroom with bathroom with bathtub, double bedroom and bathroom with shower (no bidet) in the hallway.
The second apartment, with rear entrance, opens onto the living room on the first floor, with cooking area, fireplace and two comfortable single sofa beds; from the living room, a staircase leads to the mezzanine, open onto the living room, with a double bed and bathroom with shower (no bidet).
The third apartment is on the first floor, opposite the pool, and comprises a living/dining room with cooking area, 1 double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
A separate room on the first floor houses the laundry and a common room with TV, books and games.
Location
Casale Mazzini is located in a very small group of houses on the Apennines (approx. 550 m asl), in a panoramic position overlooking the chestnut- and wood-covered valley, which reaches the summit of the Apennines.

The house is equipped with Wifi internet access, central heating, cot, hairdryer and on-site parking.
Services
Included in the price: household linen for bathroom, bed, kitchen, pool towels (changed weekly), internet connection, electricity, water and gas (except for heating). On request and payable on site, we can organize dinners, domestic help, baby sitter, tastings, horse riding, cycling and other excursions.
Useful information
Swimming pool open from 20/06 to 15/09. Access to the property via a short dirt road. The nearest house is approx. 200 m away. Cars needing access to another property may occasionally drive past the house. Satellite Wi-Fi. Use of the washing machine is included, but can only be done by the owners (on request).

The estate is located in the immediate vicinity of the Casentinesi Forests National Park and the town of Castagno d'Andrea, birthplace of Andrea del Castagno, one of the protagonists of 15th-century Florentine painting. All around are high peaks covered by immense woods, culminating in Monte Falterona, from which the Arno River rises; an ideal location for lovers of nature excursions, but also for visiting Florence, possibly by train from the Dicomano station, and the towns of the Mugello.
