The Chamrousse resort is located at the tip of the Belledonne massif, 30 km from Grenoble.
It extends over three levels: Chamrousse 1650 (Recoin), Chamrousse 1700 (Villages du Bachat) and Chamrousse 1750 (Roche Béranger) linked by forest paths and ski slopes in winter, for an area of 1300 hectares. The resort is built in the middle of the forest, offering an exceptional panorama overlooking Grenoble and its valley. The highest point is the Croix de Chamrousse at an altitude of 2250 metres.

50 metres from the cross gondola lift, the Tourist Office and the resort's lively and commercial centre, which guarantees you a sporty, friendly and relaxing stay at an altitude of 1650m

Loc Chamrousse 1650 We chose the formula lodging + ascent + ski equipment rental. The problem, it was necessary to go up by car to the station Chamrousse 1700 to recover and bring back at the end of the stay the ski material whereas several stores are located at 1650 (not adapted for us 4) Moreover, the bathroom is on the first floor in the attic under the slope, no shower possible standing obligation to be kneeling in the bathtub. Apart from all that, very nice resort
