JP est retraité heureux, Gabriele s'occupe des Gîtes, la Chambre d'hôte, et tout ce qui en découle. Nous aimons accueillir des voyageurs du monde entier, et ce depuis plus de 22 ans déjà! Ce qu'aiment nos hôtes? La simplicité de notre accueil! Dans les avis, les attributs chaleureux, discrets, et généreux reviennent souvent. Pour le lieu, nos voyageurs répètent sans cesse les mots "magnifique, reposant, écrevisses (!), havre de paix, et ressourçant"... Il n'est pas rare que nos voyageurs aperçoivent les loutres albinos qui ont pris quartier au moulin! Mais nous avons aussi d'autres animaux, comme des martres, des canards, des biches et des chevreuils qui viennent parfois boire à la rivière en passant par chez nous... Et dire que cet endroit préservé existe encore! Si vous vous imaginez déjà, là au milieu, alors venez à notre rencontre!

From June to September, our guests are captivated by crayfish fishing and the pursuit of trout right in front of the cottage (screens are no longer on the agenda for children - they prefer having fun).
Discover Sidobre, just 1.5 hours from Toulouse, 2.5 hours from Montpellier, 3.5 hours from Bordeaux, and 3 hours from the Spanish border - guaranteed change of scenery and rejuvenation. Cottages for 2 to 4 people await you.
The Cottage:
The "Paul Corbière" Cottage: 2 people (or a couple with 2 children and a baby)
Located in an outbuilding of the mill and adjacent to the "Jean Record" cottage (expansion planned to accommodate a larger group, not rented during your stay for your tranquility). On 2 levels, the independent entrance via the terrace leads you to a living area with a sofa bed, a dining area, a fully equipped open kitchen (stainless steel cookware, induction hob), a bathroom (shower), and separate toilets. Using the miller's ladder, climb to the bedroom equipped with a 160x200 bed and a convertible armchair into a 90x200 single bed. We have taken special care with the quality of the bedding to offer you optimal sleep. A baby cot and a high chair are available upon request. Enjoy the terrace with table, chairs, loungers, parasol, and barbecue.
A fishing paradise:
With over 20 fishing routes in the region and a first-category fishing river with a regular and constant flow, our fishing enthusiasts will be in their element. And why not try crayfish fishing and participate in Gabriele's cooking classes to prepare a delicious dish...

Two multi-day GR loop hikes starting from the mill,
Mountain biking on marked trails starting from the mill,
From March to September: trout fishing (private fishing over approximately 250 m of river, no fishing permit required if you stay on the mill property),
From June to September: crayfish fishing (very popular with both adults and children!),
Swimming in the river, even suitable for toddlers as some spots have only a few centimeters of depth, ideal for safe paddling,
Shiatsu or yoga with an exceptional practitioner who comes to the mill (reservation in advance required),
And of course, a guided tour of the mill offered to our guests during their stay. Jean-Pierre will transport you back in time to the eventful history of our mill, at the heart of local history, between the Albigensian Crusade and the Wars of Religion. Guaranteed emotions...

Sidobre is a unique place with spectacular sites open for visits all year round. Just a stone's throw away from Castres, the city of Jean Jaurès, Gaillac, Lautrec, Albi, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Carcassonne... More than enough to fill your 14-day vacation! All our cottages are equipped with a suitcase full of tourist information about the region.
