Cottage in a vacation complex in Grandcamp-Maisy, 35 km from Bayeux.
The wooden house is pleasantly and functionally furnished and has a terrace where you can eat comfortably. You can look forward to a covered and heated communal pool, the smallest holidaymakers also a paddling pool, and just a stone's throw away is the nearest sandy beach at your feet. The opportunities for wade fishing and sailing are good here, and the location is ideal to take full advantage of the most beautiful sights of Normandy. For example, explore the Pointe du Hoc at Criqueville-en-Bessin (6.5 km) or visit the Regional Nature Park Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin (20 km) for an invigorating and relaxing getaway.
35 km away, Bayeux beckons with a beautiful cathedral and the world-famous tapestry. History buffs shouldn't miss Omaha Beach and Utah Beach, and the ropes course in Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte (51 km) is high-flying for the whole family. Cherbourg (72 km) and its maritime museum are worth a trip, and a visit to the majestic Mont-Saint-Michel (140 km) is an unforgettable experience not to be missed.
