Casaletto is a typical country house of 300 square meters, converted into a vacation home, capable of accommodating 8 people with its 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The property boasts a large garden, Wi-Fi internet access, air conditioning in the bedrooms and a swimming pool for exclusive use. It's the ideal solution for groups of friends or families who want to enjoy a simple vacation in a fascinating location.
Outdoor areas and pool
A beautiful fenced-in lawn in front of the house, equipped with a table and chairs for al fresco lunches, characterizes the outdoor areas, where children can be left free to run around. Inside the garden is the swimming pool for exclusive use, which measures 7x14 and varies in depth from 1.1 to 2.7 meters, and is fully fenced in to guarantee children's safety. On one side is the paved solarium area, with sunbeds, parasol and unheated shower. The house also features a loggia from an old barn, equipped for outdoor lunches. Parking inside the property.
Interiors
Casaletto has undergone only the most essential restructuring, giving priority wherever possible to the recovery of original materials. The furnishings are simple but retain the charm of old country houses. The house has two levels. On the second floor, two steps down, you'll find a large room taken from the old barn, furnished simply with tables, suitable for children to play in when it's raining, 1 bedroom with 2 beds featuring an old bread oven and access to the outside, 1 bathroom with shower, bathtub and double washbasin, a laundry room with washing machine. A wooden staircase leads to the second floor (also accessible from outside via the old staircase), comprising a well-equipped kitchen/dining room with old stone sink, living room with TV, 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 bathroom with shower.
Location
The house is part of an important Tuscan estate that has belonged to the current owners' family since 1637. The farm is a large wildlife reserve, so it's normal to catch roe deer, fallow deer and other wildlife grazing peacefully in the meadows. The view overlooks the cultivated countryside and the large fenced park that surrounds the estate.

The house is equipped with Wifi internet connection, central heating, cot, high chair, hairdryer, toiletries in bathrooms, mosquito nets and air conditioning in bedrooms, parking on the property.

Our central position to the various Tuscan towns makes it easy to get around. Florence, Pisa and Livorno are all easily reached by toll-free SGC. The "Teatro del Silenzio", designed by tenor Andrea Bocelli, is just a few kilometers away. It's a natural amphitheatre, bordered by the picturesque, undulating landscape of Lajatico: a real jewel in Volterra's hinterland. A visit to Volterra, the Etruscan citadel par excellence, is well worthwhile, and in the same day you can visit San Gimignano. To visit Siena, however, you'll need to devote a whole day. The coast is also within easy reach, whether it's the Versilia or Etruscan areas south of Livorno.
