At the doors of three departments full of attractions, Cantal, Lot and Aveyron, located at 2 kilometers of Saint Constant, the family campsite of the Mill of Chaules (55 sites) welcomes you on 3 hectares in its case of undulating nature at the edge of the brook " Le Ressègue ".

Description of the region
The Cantal is the most southern department of the Auvergne, our campsite is located in the south of the Cantal, just next to the departments of the Lot and the Aveyron. These regions have a mild climate, for the anecdote, Maurs the small town next to the campsite is nicknamed the little _Nice du Cantal_.
The campsite is located in the "Châtaigneraie cantalienne", due to the numerous chestnut trees exploited in the past in the region. A museum is dedicated to it in Mourjou (5km from the campsite) _La maison de la Chataîgne_. Every year, a big fair is also organized in October in Mourjou to celebrate this fruit and these traditions. Not to be missed! Many typical villages are worth a visit in the chestnut grove (Marcolès, La rocquebrou, Montsalvy, Maurs and its Thursday market .... The chestnut grove is also the starting point for many hikes, for bike rides, for fishing, for peace and quiet... The landscapes to discover will enchant you... The Châtaigneraie is not the only area to visit from our campsite, many tourist sites located in Aveyron (6 km from the campsite), or in the Lot (5km from the campsite) are to be visited : Here are some ideas of visits at about 1 hour maximum from the campsite, the proposed list is far from being exhaustive. Do not hesitate to consult us and to vary the pleasures, you will have every day the impression to change place of vacations : one day the causses of Quercy, another day the puy Mary, or the valley of the Lot....
