Open kitchen (1 hot plate, oven, dishwasher, 3 gas rings, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine) with bar. Exit to the terrace. Shower, sep. WC. Electric heating. Very comfortable house "L'Yeuse". 5 km from the centre of Bagnols-en-Forêt, on the outskirts, 13 km from the centre of Fayence, 20 km from the centre of Fréjus, in the residential district, 23 km from the sea, in the countryside. Private: property 1'800 m2 (fenced) with trees, natural garden, swimming pool fenced (8 x 4 m, depth 90 - 190 cm, seasonal availability: 01.Jan. - 31.Dec.). Parking (for 3 cars) on the premises. Supermarket 5 km, sandy beach "Saint Raphaël" 23 km. Golf course (18 hole) 8 km. Nearby attractions: Golf Terres Blanches. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Lac de Saint Cassien. Hiking paths: Gorges du Blavet. The owner does not accept any youth groups.

The house is very pretty and conforms to the photos. The kitchen is well equipped, with enough utensils to cook and eat for a family. There's even a second refrigerator on the small terrace. The living room is spacious and pleasant, and the TV is set up with Netflix and Amazon Prime access. The master bedroom is also spacious, with comfortable bedding. The main bathroom (upstairs) is a little cramped and outdated, (the one downstairs is much better) but it's very clean and functional. The garden is superb, large and shady. The pool is large enough for swimming laps. The gentleman who welcomed us is very friendly, helpful and dynamic. He lives right next door and was very helpful in giving us information and advice on outings in the area. There are many walks from the house, or a 3 to 5 km drive, and the beaches are less than 1/2 hour's drive away (but beware, the area is very steep and the roads can be very narrow!) On the other hand, we had chosen this house in the hope of enjoying some restorative peace and quiet; unfortunately, a noisy building site is underway right next door and spoiled part of our week (then it rained and the work stopped), so we weren't able to enjoy the garden and the magnificent sheltered main terrace as much as we'd have liked, which faces right onto the building site. I hope this work will be completed soon, so that next season's tenants won't have the same unpleasant surprise as we did. Apart from this drawback (which we would have liked to know about before booking), we are very satisfied with our experience.
