Cui Bono is a luxury villa situated on the south of Costa Dorada, in the village of l'Ampolla managed by Catalan Ways.

We have two offices in l’Ampolla to give support and information on all aspects of your holiday on the Costa Dorada; our job is to make sure you have all the knowledge you need to have the wonderful holiday you deserve.


Cui Bono is a luxury villa and there is nothing in the least ordinary about this beach front property. First because it is a fusion of luxury combined with a privileged position with the smells and sounds of the Mediterranean all around. And secondly because this unique holiday rental has just been renovated with no expense spared so it provides seven bedrooms all with independent air-conditioning, of which five have private terraces that overlook the beach.

There are six bathrooms, most unsuited. The bedrooms are furnished in a luxurious manner. The master bedroom has a separate dressing room and wardrobe area, a large bathroom and a king-size bed and vanity table. It has separate access to a private terrace with designated patio furniture. There are three other bedrooms on this level, two of which enjoy access to their own terrace with separate patio suites of furniture. These bedrooms share two large bathrooms. There is a fifth twin bedroom which is located to the rear of this property with private bathroom, perfect for the kids. What is a wonderfully unique and attractive feature of the villa is that it offers two chalet bedrooms also with ensuite bathrooms that are independent from the main building. This means they afford a special privacy and independence for couples or teenage children that would really appreciate that touch of added independence.

The main building has a split-level dining and open plan lounge area leading onto an enormous terrace and amazing sea-views. The expansive dining area and table has seating for fourteen people on moulded leather chairs and is separated from the lower lounge by a glass balustrade. This formidable dining area is located beside a state-of-the-art kitchen which features a 6 m² granite kitchen island, top of the range appliances such as rapid induction hob, a special triple filtered water system to deliver perfect drinking water and a handy fridge cooler that gives easy access to often needed items such as a cool beer or a coke. The lounge itself is an open plan expanse with multi language digital channels and a 56-inch flat screen TV, leather wrap around sofas and French doors that lead onto an extravagant 60 m² patio with the sounds of an ocean wafting in the air. It is a perfect sit around space with two double L-shaped sofas and a generous coffee table for pre-dinner cocktails and chat.

There is shaded parking for three vehicles. The villa has a safe for valuables and all of the shutters are automatic so just press a button. The private swimming pool with wraparound sun deck hanging over the beach is amazing. Yet the mature gardens and elevated position of the villa ensure the utmost privacy and comfort that gives you the ultimate decision to make. Do you remain in the luxurious privacy of Cui Bono or exit the grounds and find yourself on the most beautiful beach in the area? If that already did not make for a holiday to remember, Pepe’s Chiringuito or beach restaurants is located just 50 m away. Get ready for the experience of a lifetime.

L'Ampolla is a fishing village that has happily avoided being a tourist destination. Famed through-out the Costa Dorada for its cuisine, the oysters, razor clams and fish all come straight from the waters of the bay. While it does have a gentle pace of life with great beaches, there is still jet ski rental and boat hire for fishing, beach volleyball tournaments and a summer season night-club, music concerts and festivals to provide lots of interesting variety.
