Splendid stone house comprising a 350 m2 maison de maitre and an 80 m2 outbuilding, located 20 meters from each other, which can accommodate 18 people in total, with 7 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with two single beds and two bunk beds, ideal for boys, and 5 bathrooms. The property features a large garden with private swimming pool, an outdoor area equipped for al fresco lunches, barbecue, WI-FI internet connection, satellite TV, heating, air conditioning in the outbuilding. This property is ideal for large families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing vacation in peace and quiet.
Outdoor areas and swimming pool
Set in a large park, Casale Mocaio features a magnificent rectangular swimming pool with Romanesque staircase, measuring 12x6 meters and with a depth varying from 1.20 to 1.50 meters, situated in an elevated, secluded position and from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. Around the pool, guests can enjoy a solarium area, partly paved, equipped with sunbeds and two wooden arbors to keep out the heat of the summer sun. In front of the kitchen of the manor house is a large shaded area furnished with garden furniture for relaxation and equipped with tables, chairs and two portable barbecues for summer grilling, ideal for the whole group wishing to eat al fresco. The outbuilding has a furnished loggia and a rustic barbecue. Outside, there's also a small laundry room with washing machine. Parking for 2-3 cars is on one side of the manor house; additional space is available in the vicinity of the outbuilding.
Interiors
Perfectly restructured and cared for, keeping intact the original features, the house is furnished with valuable pieces. The maison de maitre is laid out over 2 levels, which communicate with each other from the inside. The first floor comprises a large day area with a well-equipped kitchen with fireplace and pantry compartment from which access is gained to the outside; a dining room; a huge living room featuring vaulted ceilings with large picture windows and a warm wooden floor, fireplace, sofas and armchairs, ideal for relaxing with the whole group; a large double bedroom with parquet flooring and bathroom with shower. On the second floor we find a large study/reading room furnished with sofas and ceiling fan, a living room with sofas and flat-screen TV and ceiling fan, 2 bathrooms with shower, 2 twin bedrooms, one with ceiling fan, 1 double bedroom with dressing room and ceiling fan, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with bathtub and a quadruple bedroom suitable for children with 2 single beds and two bunk beds with dressing room.
The nearby outbuilding is furnished in a modern, functional style. The first floor comprises a living/dining room with cooking area that opens onto the shaded, paved patio with rustic barbecue, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.
Location
Casale Mocaio is located within a vast estate that extends over many hectares and is made up of several properties far apart from each other. Access is via an electric code gate on the main road, which leads directly to the property along a few kilometers of white road in good condition. Panoramic and sunny, the property enjoys a splendid view of the surrounding hills, close to the sea.
