This beautiful and spacious vacation home has a private pool in the heart of a large fenced garden on the outskirts of the village of Azillanet, just 8 km from the Canal du Midi. This vacation property in a quiet location nestled in a charming area is ideal for 2 or 3 families.
The saltwater pool with its Roman steps is 1.55 m deep and is set in the middle of a lush overgrown and sunny garden. The tastefully decorated interior of this house as well as the high ceilings and old beams exude a discreet charm. The living area opens onto a terrace with beautiful views, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a convivial meal. The second floor is accessible by elevator, which is worth mentioning. There is also a large game room with TV area, billiards and table soccer.
In a unique environment, the small Azillanet awaits you. You are only 50 minutes from beaches such as the beach of Gruissan, 8 km from the Etang de Jouarre, 35 km from Narbonne, 40 km from Carcassone and 50 km from Béziers. The pretty narrow streets, the church, the old monastery, the fountains and the former public wash houses bear witness to its past. Together with the Dolmen de la Cigalière and the small cave containing remains of ancient Roman villas and churches, you will walk in the footsteps of the past. Children can play at the local playground and in the beautiful gardens.
Azillanet is located at the foot of the Causse, 3 km before Minerve, a fantastic place of the Cathars. Admire the natural arches, a famous landmark, as well as the many original caves hollowed out by the river Cesse! Amidst monuments and standing stones, windmills and former wash houses, rivers and charming villages, vineyards, olive groves, caves and castles, the region of ?Le Minervois? offers exceptional sights just waiting to be discovered.
