Nice apartment located in the resort of Salou, just 200mts. from the beautiful Capellans beach and Cala Llenguadets. It is sorrounded by restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, etc ... Mariposas´ apartment has a double bedroom with two single beds, a kitchenette fully equipped, a living room with sofa bed, a bathroom with tub and a terrace with outdoor furniture. The Mariposa building it's from the 70s , the apartment is not renoved. It has a communal pool for adults and children with sun beds and a communal rooftop solarium with showers to lay back and enjoy the summer days. The building has an elevator.

Very well located apartment, close to the beach, shops and activities. The apartment is clean, but there are more than just "a few imperfections" as the advert suggests... In the bathroom, the ventilation grille is blocked with paper, the ceiling has traces of damp and when the neighbors are cooking, you get the smell coming through the grille while you're washing... The kitchen equipment is very rudimentary (crockery and cutlery, only 5 small water glasses, no wine glasses or glasses for cocktails or aperitifs, no salad bowl, only one large dish, no meat knife, 4 bowls and 2 coffee cups, no coffee maker). What's more, the living room walls are full of black marks and knocks (a lick of paint to tidy things up would be more appropriate, especially at the weekly rental price). Also, no iron as advertised. The apartment is equipped with 2 fans, 1 of which doesn't work. And very serious soundproofing problem. The residence is secure, as is the pool, with badge access. Magnificent pool, ideal for adults and children (small negative point -> only the surface of the pool is cleaned, the bottom leaves something to be desired). However, the agency is a 20-minute walk from the apartment... In view of the apartment, I think the deposit of 300 euros is more than high, and we only got it back 10 days after our departure. (The money is not blocked on your account but well withdrawn!) To summarize our stay fortunately we spent most of our time outside. PS: be careful, the agency on site charged us the tourist tax for 4 people when we were only 2, and when we asked for it, they told us it was because we were there for two weeks. But beware of the scam, as the tax is maximum for 7 days! (Luckily we knew about it!) The agency saw that we weren't going to take it lying down, and ended up giving us back the 15 euros.
