Come and escape to the heart of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Park, in a superb forest setting conducive to calm and serenity. Set in 5,000 m² of parkland planted with centuries-old oak trees, the Pédelay gite, a former sheepfold with swimming pool, offers all modern comforts in all seasons. For chilly evenings, light a fire in the fireplace for a cosy atmosphere. Breathe in the fresh air; lovely walks along forest paths await you, take the little train to Sabres to discover our traditions via the Marquèze site or simply let yourself be tempted by the local gastronomy. A peaceful place, in a cocooning gîte that has preserved its beautiful local architecture. This renovated sheepfold is all on one level:
Living room with open-plan kitchen, 2 bedrooms (sleeping 160, and 2 sleeping 90x200),
shower room, toilet and storeroom. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, freezer, TV, DVD player, wifi internet access (connection not always stable). Reversible air-conditioning in living room, electric in other rooms. Open fireplace in living room. 1st wheelbarrow free, €15 for subsequent ones. Sheets, towels and household linen provided. Baby equipment available. Covered terrace with garden furniture and plancha. Children's play equipment: swing (slide, trapeze, swing, etc.), trampoline.
For your moments of relaxation, shared swimming pool (8x4 m - Progressive access by stairs on the shallow end - 1.70m on the deep end. Security system (alarm + cover) available from June to September, weather permitting.
The price includes: 8 KWh of electricity per day, 500 liters of water per day and 1/2 bottle of gas per week for cooking (if the accommodation is equipped with gas fires). Excess consumption will be collected by the owner at the end of your stay.
