lodging referenced as gîte de France.... never found on the gîtes website house that had certainly not been aired for a while, damp, spiders in every corner of every room, unpleasant smells in the bathroom, dining room very badly arranged, dark, very bad TV reception, no internet, obliged to clean the shelves and drawers of dressers and cupboards before putting our clothes away and considering the state of the tea towel afterwards, it was very necessary. Flies and dead insects caught in the curtains and inside the blankets, large cobwebs under the bedsprings, in short the list is long. We do not have the same sense of cleanliness. The only positive points are the very practical gas plancha, the small dishwasher, the washing machine and the green setting because at that time we were surrounded by woods and corn fields. We will not rent again because it is too old and needs a good refreshment inside.
