Possibility of 8 extra beds in a fully-equipped house adjoining the gite (availability and booking to be arranged with the owner). On the outskirts of Alençon, a gite that combines traditional architecture with contemporary decor for family stays in the footsteps of the Martin family and Sainte Thérèse, sporting breaks on the greenway, nature breaks in the Ecouves forest or gourmet breaks with ciders, perry and farmhouse camemberts. Occasionally, with the owner's agreement, horses can be accommodated in the meadow.

Laurence and Jean de Valbray have lived in Cerisé since 1984, restoring their 18th-century Logis where their family (5 children) has grown year after year, and then the adjoining 17th-century farmhouse which they rent out year-round. The barn, which is now the gîte "La Grange de Cerisé", was in a sorry state of repair ... but there was no question of letting these old stones fall by the wayside! Passionate about architectural heritage, Jean carried out all the work with the help of skilled regional craftsmen. By choice, they entrust the upkeep to social integration associations, to give work to those who may be at risk in their professional careers. They love to share the region's culinary delights with their guests: good local produce, cultural activities, walks, spiritual tourism, especially the birthplace of St. Therese and the life of Louis and Zélie Martin, which Laurence knows by heart! Jean, a horse rider in his own right, will be happy to share his two horses' pasture with you if you come to ride in the Orne!
