Camping La Chanterelle is located in the south of Auvergne in the Livradois-Forez regional nature park. Halfway between Clermont-Ferrand and Le Puy-en-Velay you are at the ideal location for your holidays in our beautiful region. The campsite is located 500m from the small village of Champagnac-Le-Vieux where you will find a bakery, a restaurant, a small market on Friday mornings and a gas station. At 17km (20mn by car) you will find the sub-prefecture of Haute-Loire Brioude (all shops and large market on Saturday morning).On our site of 110 sites (6 ha, on a human scale), surrounded by nature in the woods by a lake of exceptional water quality, you will find:n- camping places (about 100m2), private and delimited for tents, caravans, camper vans, electricity (10A) and drinking watern- 20 chalets for 6 people (1 for people with reduced mobility)n- 6 mobile homes for 4 people- 8 lagoon tents for 5 people (1 for people with reduced mobility)n- 4 Cyrus tents for 4 peoplennThe reception is open:n- from 9am to 10am and from 6pm to 7pm in low season n- from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm in July and August, customer reception, mini grocery store (July and August), postcards, stamps, tourist office, fishing card by day or night (with the authorization of the town hall) 5 euros day 20 euros week, orientation and hiking itinerary, free loan of sports equipment (deposit 5 euros), sale of local products (honey, jam, saffron, wine, beer) etc...n2 sanitary blocks including 1 heated in low season (1 toilet and a shower for people with reduced mobility), draining for chemical toiletsn Washing machines and dryers, iron (on request)n2 community barbecuesn Children's playgrounds, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, petanque, footballn Bar, ice (on site or to take away), snack bar (pizzas, chickens, takeaway fries only), bakery (bread and pastries, baking on site every morning) in June, July and August. No beach with supervised swimming in July and August. The site is quiet, but during the summer months, our team offers a choice of sports activities, excursions, shows and many other surprises. Ping-Pong, petanque, volleyball, football, canoeing in the gorges of the allier, concerts (discover this year's program), magician, quiz, karaoke, one theme meal per week with dance evening. Come and breathe the air of our coniferous trees, stroll along our paths, pick " La Chanterelle ", or even tease the pike on the lake shore. Whether you are with your family, in a group, for a few days or more, get back in shape at an altitude of 900 metres, calm, tranquility but above all friendliness.
