Balaruc les Bains, L'Etang de Thau is a seawater pond, very shallow and therefore perfect for family swimming with children. With an exceptional body of water, the Thau pond allows navigation in all seasons. The Manuréva Nautical Centre where you can practice many sports on the pond (catamaran, paddle, kayak, optimist, etc.) is accessible from the age of 6. Other activities are also available: tennis, cycle tourism, petanque, beach volleyball, skate-park. Renowned since ancient times, thermal water has become a source of well-being, experience a relaxing moment at the spa "O'balia, the 1st thermal spa in the Mediterranean", and do not miss seeing the "Ancient Mediterranean Garden". Many sites are to be visited: Sète, the first fishing port in the Mediterranean, with its covered market in Les Halles and the panorama of Mont Saint Clair. Bouzigues, Mèze and Marseillan, authentic villages, are famous for their seafood production (oysters, mussels...). Agde for its historical heritage, a visit to the Musée de l'Ephèbe is a must. Frontignan for its Muscat and its famous pebble beach of Des Aresquiers. Le Massif de la Gardiole for its sumptuous landscapes. Béziers where you can discover the site Les 9 Ecluses. Montpellier with its shopping streets. Don't forget to visit the Lunaret Zoo, your children will appreciate it. Carcassonne with its medieval city.
