About 5 km from Poppi, in a picturesque hilly location, this lovely country house with pool is situated in a unique panoramic position. The former hayloft has been lovingly restored and furnished, so that you can enjoy the rustic atmosphere of bygone times as well as modern style and comfort. Directly in front of the large bright living room you enter the comfortably furnished terraces, which have the pool with overflow rim as a focal point ? a perfect ambience to relax, browse and enjoy the sunset with a glass of red wine. Adjacent to the house is a well-kept olive grove, where there is also a play area for the little ones ? other games such as table tennis, table soccer, bocce, etc. are available to guests together with those of the neighboring ITA046. Garage on request. A paradise for relaxing, but also for trekking and excursions to the small towns and castles of the Casentino Natural Park. One of the most imposing castles can be found right in medieval Poppi, a charming little town where you will enjoy having a cappuccino in the morning, an aperitif in the evening ? or vice versa. Good trattorias offer local dishes, for example with porcini mushrooms or truffles. Visit the zoo of Poppi! Discover Arezzo (45 km) with its old town worth seeing - e.g. while strolling through the Corso, visiting the worth seeing cathedral, the Romanesque Pieve, the church of San Francesco with the famous fresco cycle by Pero della Francesca - and of course during an aperitif on the Piazza Grande! Numerous trattorias offer local delicacies. In June and September, Piazza Grande hosts the traditional equestrian games of the Saracino; on the first weekend of every month, the entire old town comes alive with the great national antiques market.
