In the heart of the Florentine Chianti area, just 5 minutes by car from the charming and ancient hamlet of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, overlooking the valley and vineyards of Chianti, we propose a Tuscan-style vacation home with communal pool and private terrace equipped for your outdoor meals! The cottage is located in an estate that includes a villa (ITC957) and a barn divided into two apartments. The accommodation is very spacious and particularly suitable for families with children or groups of friends spending their vacations together. The accommodation has preserved the typical features of Tuscan buildings, with exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors and some walls with stone details. The furnishings are rustic and very cozy. From one of the double rooms you have access to another private terrace. All guests of the property share a large green area near the entrance to the property, in the middle of which is the pool, equipped with sun loungers. From here you can take beautiful walks and for mountain bike fans guided tours are available to explore the Chianti region. Cooking classes, cake design courses and wine tastings are also organized on site upon request. Information on prices and times directly on site. If you are guests of the accommodation ITC958, the owner offers you one of the following free extra services in April, May or June: Cooking course in your accommodation. The course includes the preparation of two traditional Tuscan dishes (for example: 'Pappa al Pomodoro' and 'Cantuccini') and the tasting, as well as the delivery of the corresponding recipes. The cooked dishes are then tasted by the customers. Trekking excursion along the Via Francigena ?in the footsteps of the pilgrims?: path of about 15 km in the middle of the Tuscan countryside with breathtaking views; in the first stage guests are accompanied by car to the starting point of the excursion and at the end of the walk they are brought back to the accommodation. Walk through the countryside to a local winery and wine tasting. Half day mountain bike tour with guide (possibility to rent mountain bikes on site). Please inform the landlady about the chosen additional service together with your expected arrival time. On request and extra charge on site: Access to a small private SPA (1 km) with sauna, Turkish bath and massage room. On site you can also buy olive oil, wine and vinsanto of the farm from the landlords. Some distances: Marcialla about 2,5 km, Castellina in Chianti about 20 km, Greve in Chianti about 24 km, the medieval hamlet of Montefioralle near Greve, Firenze about 40 km e Siena about 45 km.
