This beautiful stone farmhouse welcomes you in a small hamlet in the peaceful countryside. Tastefully renovated, in this resort each room has its own bathroom and you will enjoy the large garden with its large private pool. There is no shortage of things to see and do in the region. To the west is Rocamadour (19 km), which has been used by pilgrims for many centuries and today also attracts tourists. It is one of the most visited tourist centers in France. Besides the Notre Dame Chapel and the famous Black Madonna, you will find other attractions such as the Monkey Forest and the Rocher des Aigles. Rocamadour is also known for its small goat cheeses, which are worth seeing. In Gramat (10 km) you can visit a zoo open all year round and the famous Gouffre de Padirac (7 km), a magnificent sequence of underground caves that you can discover by boat. Note for train enthusiasts: There is a steam train to Martel (25 km) that makes daily trips through the beautiful Lot countryside in the summer. 12 km north of the Dordogne, which stretches east and west, many opportunities for river activities await you again: canoeing, kayaking, swimming ... We came face to face with a mouse in the kitchen garbage can that we emptied every day. Very humid house, lack of VMC in the shower rooms. For the outside bedroom, the duvet cover is not adapted to the size of the duvet. The pool should be heated. The pool is aging and mice and other animals were found in it. The gate to the pool is not up to standard. The fireplace was not emptied, so there was a smell of smoke in the house, and the barbecue was not emptied. Does not deserve its 4 stars despite the kindness of the person who welcomed us.
