In the heart of a typical Alsatian farmhouse, refined decoration chosen in the spirit of Alsatian folk arts and traditions. Rest and relaxation are guaranteed in this half-timbered house. The 140m² gite features a fully-equipped open kitchen, 2 bedrooms on the first floor, one of which is very spacious, and a bedroom on the mezzanine, a 50m² living room, a shower room with WC, and a separate WC. Restored in 2015, we've taken great care to preserve the authenticity of this former cowshed, which is sure to surprise you! modern comfort in a country atmosphere, the gite's private swimming pool is at your disposal from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. other times are available on request, without any problem (the pool is exclusively reserved for the gite, not shared with the owner).
Ideally located for discovering our region: Strasbourg, the Wine Route and its medieval villages, the Vosges or the Black Forest, Baden-Baden thermal baths, Europa Park, Château du Haut Koenigsbourg, Christmas markets - the list goes on and on!
STRASBOURG's big Christmas market is only 15 minutes from the gite.
With the owners' agreement, pets are allowed (5 euros/day/pet).
We offer traditional Alsatian dishes on request: sauerkraut - baeckeofe - Riesling chicken - tarts flambées - braised ham - bouchée à la reine - Alsatian plate with fried potatoes or kassler on fried potatoes.
Please note that some dishes require 12 hours of preparation or marinating.
In the enclosed courtyard, ping-pong, darts, swings, precision games and balls will keep adults and children entertained.
