In the heart of a typical Alsatian farmhouse, refined decoration chosen in the spirit of Alsatian folk arts and traditions. Rest and relaxation are guaranteed in this half-timbered house. The 140m² Hof comprises a fully-equipped open kitchen, 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which is very spacious, and a bedroom on the mezzanine, a 50m² living room, a shower room with WC, and a separate WC. Restored in 2015, we have taken great care to preserve the authenticity of this former stable, which is sure to surprise you! Modern comfort in a country atmosphere, the private swimming pool is at your disposal from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Other times can be arranged on request, as the pool is entirely reserved for you.
Ideally located for discovering our region: Strasbourg, the Wine Route and its medieval villages, the Vosges or the Black Forest, Baden-Baden thermal baths, Europa Park, Château du Haut Koenigsbourg, Christmas markets - the list goes on!
STRASBOURG's big Christmas market is only 15 minutes from the gite.
Possibility of longer rental periods
With the owners' agreement, pets are allowed (5 euros/day/pet).
We offer traditional Alsatian dishes on request: sauerkraut - baeckeoffe - Riesling chicken - tarts flambées - braised knuckle of pork - fried potatoes - bouchée à la reine - Alsatian salad or kassler on fried potatoes.
Please note that some dishes require 12 hours' preparation or marinating.
In the enclosed courtyard, ping-pong, darts, swings, precision games and balls will keep adults and children entertained.
