Description of the region
The countryside is enchanting with its green valleys and hills; its woods and fields are an endless source of inspiration for painters and photographers. You can enjoy it on foot, by bike, by car or even by horse or canoe. And, if all these beauties are not enough for you, you will also find a multitude of places that are well worth a visit: castles, convents, churches, markets, museums and famous prehistoric caves...
The nearby Cognac cellars and the Bergerac vineyards invite you to visit them. Equestrian centers, golf courses or canoe rentals are everywhere. In spite of all this, the Périgord Vert is not sullied by the stigma of tourism: no long queues to get to places of interest, no unwelcome crowds. There are several golf courses in the vicinity (> 1 h. drive) of Corneuil. The Golf De La Preze is located about 30 minutes from Corneuil.
