Via an approx. 1 km long forest road (which is not suitable for lowered cars) you will reach an oasis of peace. Breathe the fresh air, enjoy the spectacular panoramic view and the privacy of the house. With a little luck, you can watch forest animals like deer from your balcony or terrace. For your relaxation, 2 high-quality deck chairs are at your disposal.
In the house a noble ambience is waiting for you: whether snuggling by the fireplace, reading in the winter garden or cooking in a modern, well-equipped kitchen ? pure relaxation awaits you! Cyclists will find a charming landscape with many cultural treasures in the immediate vicinity, such as the cycle path along the water castles. Here you will experience a wonderful variety of castles and chateaus. The historical impressions can be deepened in the castle museum of Nideggen. Mountain bike riders can experience pure riding fun on 20 tours - Freifahrt Eifel - with a total length of 500 km on signposted routes marked in 3 levels of difficulty.
Water sports enthusiasts will find numerous opportunities such as sailing, surfing or swimming at the nearby Rurtalsperre Schwammenmauel, one of the largest dams in Germany. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can enjoy a boat tour of the white Rursee fleet across the Eifel lake district and observe the surrounding green nature.
The Rur-Eifel and especially the red sandstone rocks are a hiker's paradise. Experience the silence of this untouched nature. Beginners of Nordic walking will find good conditions at the Nordic Walking Endurance School Rureifel in Nideggen.
