Gîte for 10 people - 4 bedrooms/3 shower rooms, 1 bathroom - located on the border between Cantal and Lozère, 55 minutes from Le Puy-en-Velay. At an altitude of 1165m, summer days are warm and sunny, nights cool and restful. Winters can be very snowy.
10 minutes from the town of Saugues: outdoor activities, biological lake, swimming pool, collegiate church, fantastic museum of the Beast of Gévaudan, English Tower, festival en Gévaudan in August, village festivals in summer. Our gîte is located in an old farmhouse typical of the Margeride region. After 13 years of running it as a "Chambres et Table d'hôtes", we have transformed the house into a gîte.
The first floor offers :
- a lovely living room with a small, open, fully-equipped kitchen.
large dining table - lounge area with flat-screen TV for evenings around the wood-burning stove.
- the Coquelicots bedroom (2 beds 90) with Italian shower and WC
- laundry room (washing machine and dryer, ironing equipment)
- a second toilet.
On the second floor, you'll find the Raspberry family room with 4 beds 90 and a bathroom with WC.
The second floor comprises two bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom (shower/WC). Chambre Jonquille (2 beds 90) and Chambre Campagne (1 bed 140 and 1 bed 90).
Each room is equipped with shower mat, hairdryer and liquid soap.
SERVICES INCLUDED in the gîte rental price:
- Bed linen (comforter cover or sheet) and towels are provided for the number of people listed on the rental contract. All you have to do is make and unmake your beds.
- Wood for the stove provided free of charge
- Electric heating included in the price
- End-of-stay cleaning
OFF KITCHEN (crockery, ovens, hob, fridge/freezer,
sink, dishwasher, etc.) emptying of household garbage cans and vacuuming
and vacuuming throughout the house
At your disposal :
- Baby equipment (high chair, booster seat, bathtub and cot for children under 3, play mat)
- Garden furniture, barbecue
- Bike room.
A deposit of €500 will be required on arrival unless it has already been taken at the time of booking.
If you wish to bring your pet with you, please inform us at the time of booking. Deposit of €100/pet - 2 pets maximum.
You will also be asked to pay a 150€ deposit for cleaning the kitchen. The house is not equipped for disabled people.
We welcome you between 6pm and 8pm, with some exceptions.
The all-inclusive price includes :
. bed linen and towels for the stay,
. end-of-stay cleaning - excluding kitchen and vacuum cleaner throughout the house - a deposit of 150€ is required for cleaning.

This accommodation is professionally distributed. Unless otherwise stated, services such as cleaning, sheets, towels etc. are not included in the price of this rental. If pets are allowed (indicated in the advert), a supplement may apply.

Equipment not indicated is not considered to be present.<br />By the D589 (route du Puy-en-Velay), go as far as the village of Saugues, then follow the D589 towards Le Malzieu and La Besseyre-Saint-Mary. When you arrive in Pompeyrin, take the road towards La Besseyre St Mary, after 200m don't leave the village of Pompeyrin, take the first small road on your left.
From the A75 freeway, exit at Ruynes en Margeride or Saint Chély and head for Saugues.
Our gîte has colorful gates.
