In the peaceful hamlet of La Mouteyre, between Gévaudan and Margeride, Gilles and Geneviève welcome you to their fully renovated gîte. Passionate about sports and nature, the owners will help you discover their most beautiful hikes and bike rides. Two gîtes for 4 and 5 people have been merged to offer you space and independence for your stays with friends or families.
On site: fishing 2 km away, wild fruit and mushroom picking, hiking and mountain biking, marked trails 200 m from the gîte...
Nearby: Saugues 15 km (swimming in organic lake, Tour des Anglais, Bête du Gévaudan museum), Monistrol d'Allier 20 km (supervised beach and white-water sports). All shops and services in Saugues (15 km). Enclosed, landscaped grassed courtyard (200 m²) with terrace, barbecue and garden furniture. Large plot of land behind the house (1000 m²).
First floor: fitted kitchen opening onto a TV area with sofa bed, shower room-WC, then access to a living room with wood-burning stove and TV, as well as a fitted kitchen.
1st floor: 4 bedrooms (2 beds 140, 5 beds 90), a bathroom-wc, a shower-room-wc (access via two staircases with ramps).
The space can be split into two living areas, each with its own bedroom and bathroom.
The owners allow guests access to their private gym (table tennis, table soccer, weight bench, rowing machines, home trainer, ....). Please note that the gym is not an integral part of the gîte's services, and the owners have the right to refuse you access if you do not respect the premises.
Services included in the gîte rental price:
- central heating and instant hot water for 8 people.
- Electricity supply.
- wood for the stove.
- Free access to the owner's WIFI (unstable in stormy weather).
- Baby equipment: cot and high chair.
Optional services to be paid for on site:
Bed linen rental: 8 €/bed
Bathroom linen: 6 €/pers.
Cleaning service: 80 € (a 50 € deposit will be required on arrival if this option is not taken out).
A security deposit of €500 will be required on arrival.
