Situated in a small rural village overlooking a small valley, the Gîte de l'Aveines is named after the stream that flows below and joins the river Allier at Lavoûte-Chilhac, 2.5 km away.
Housed in an old barn adjoining the owner's house, it combines the authenticity of stone with the comfort of its 3 en-suite bedrooms.
Nearby: St-Cirgues church 2 km, Lavoûte-Chilhac 2.5 km (priory, bridge over the Allier, small shops, tourist office), Langeac 13 km (Jacquemart museum, St-Gal festival in July, old town, all shops and services). A staircase leads to the first floor, which comprises a large living room with fully-equipped kitchenette, dining area and sitting area with closed hearth fireplace and TV. A separate toilet is also accessible on this level.
On the 1st floor, 2 bedrooms have a double bed (140cm) and 1 bedroom has 2 single beds (90cm). All 3 have their own private bathroom with separate WC.
