2 hours from Lyon and 1h30 from Clermont-Ferrand, in the Allier gorges, the village of St Julien des Chazes is the perfect place for a vacation in the heart of nature.
Martine and José welcome you to their lovely gîte "Chez la Jeanne" in the hamlet of Le Monteil.
This large semi-detached house has 2000 m² of enclosed grounds, a 60 m² paved courtyard and a 33 m² terrace with pergola.
Inside, a vast living room organized around a beautiful fireplace will be the ideal place to invent wonderful memories around games or good meals.
On the second floor, there are 2 double bedrooms and a triple bedroom, plus a third bedroom on a mezzanine floor and the possibility of an extra bed in a second mezzanine.
Nearby: St-Julien-des-Chazes village, Ste-Marie chapel, Allier river, Chanteuges 6 km (priory, cloister, village, wild salmon conservatory), St-Arcons-d'Allier 5 km (village, tinplate museum), Langeac 10 km (collegiate church, jacquemart museum, mountain bike area, adventure trail in the forest, Allier gorges tourist train, all shops and services, weekly market), Saugues 10 km (ecological lake, English tower, Bête du Gévaudan museum...). First floor: living room/kitchen (sofa bed, TV, open fireplace), bathroom, laundry room (washing machine, tumble dryer), wc.
1st floor: Mezzanine bedroom with 1 x 140cm bed, 2 bedrooms (1 x 140cm bed each), 1 bedroom (2 x 110x175cm beds, 1 x 130x190cm bed), shower room with WC.
Oil-fired central heating and electricity included in the price (subject to reasonable consumption: 16Kwh per day (any excess will be paid to the owners).
Additional wood: €40 per 1/2 stere (1st flambé free).
Baby equipment: cot, high chair, changing table.
A cleaning deposit of 80€ will be required if you have not taken the cleaning option.
Additional bed linen for 1 and 2 persons : 10€.
