Just 1 hour from Clermont-Ferrand and close to the A75 motorway on the Allier gorges, lies the village of Langeac... Not far from the village, on a small hill on the edge of a wood, you'll find this charming renovated vineyard house. Here, you'll enjoy a break in the heart of nature, in a cosy little cocoon decorated with care.
This unusual place is well worth a visit! To get there, the road is not passable in wet weather, so you may have to walk the last 150 meters. Once there, you'll be seduced by the breathtaking view over the valley, countryside and surrounding forests!
On-site activities: Relaxation and nature observation, walks or hikes starting from the gîte (close to the St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrimage route, among others).
Nearby: The village of Langeac (all shops), white-water activities on the Allier, fishing, tourist train...
Further afield: the legendary village of Saugues, Brioude and its listed basilica, the town of Le Puy en Velay and its many UNESCO World Heritage monuments... Set in approx. 3 hectares of land, this former vineyard house features a living room with kitchenette on the ground floor. Upstairs, a bedroom with two beds (one on a mezzanine, ceiling height 1m) and a shower cubicle with direct access to the outside. Dry toilets about 20 m from the house.
This dwelling is equipped with a system of solar panels powering a battery, making it self-sufficient in terms of electricity consumption, so you'll need to be particularly careful not to forget any lights or leave any electrical appliances on for too long.

Please note: access to the first floor and mezzanine is via a steep staircase and a miller's ladder. This apartment is therefore not suitable for young children or people with mobility difficulties.
