The Vanoise National Park:
National Park created in 1963, it was, from 1936, a hunting reserve which allowed to effectively protect the Alpine ibex. The Park has an area of 534 km², a large part of which is in the town of Champagny-en-vanoise. Twinned since 1972 with the Gran Paradiso National Park, it is today the largest reserve of fauna and flora in Europe. Paradise for hikers, with a network of more than 500 km of marked trails. Nature trails, geological tables, 42 refuges complete the package.

Hello, we had booked our stay in June 2023 for an 8-person apartment, but due to a problem with our apartment in December we were moved to a 10-person apartment. We had trouble finding someone to show us the apartment, the person just gave us a tour of the apartment without showing us the functions (example: we thought the kitchen hood wasn't working, we spent the whole week opening the windows while cooking... Not great, in the end we only had to do one thing to turn on the hood (note that I communicated with the manager by SMS before our stay, and there was no reply from the 1st day of our vacation). No one at reception, never anyone... The apartment description clearly needs to be revised... The bed linen was disgusting, yellow stains, blood, black spots etc... (indicated in the ad: top-of-the-range EPEDA bedding). What's more, our room was on the street side, with a bathroom. The creaking bed and the hollow mattress were horrible, we had to put the mattress on the floor to "spend a decent night". The bathroom (facing the street I recall) had a large bay window!.... No curtain... Just a wooden frame with holes... We did the test... From the street, we were clearly naked! ( see photo of the dining room it's the same thing) Regarding the description: 2 tvs with satellite... The 2 TVs are side by side, a flat screen and a 70s TV (without remote control). High-speed internet access: unfortunately the network was so much faster with 4g... (the residence was not complete - no network saturation possible). Not even toilet paper, just 1 roll in each toilet... Vacuum full with a nauseating smell... -Bread and pastry service every morning at your door: misleading advertising, the bakery tells us it no longer has a "partnership" with our chalet, and we never got a reply from the receptionists... A shower in one room was unusable because the tray was cracked... Cleaning to be reviewed, dust and cobwebs... In short, not a great stay...
