Aïga resort Thermal and Spa is a brand new Residence of tourism****, it offers 90 luxury apartments, fully equipped, with Art Deco decoration, for a memorable stay: whether for a weekend, a week or a longer stay.
All apartments are modern, functional and directly connected to our 100% natural thermal spa for a deeply relaxing stay.
From studios to two rooms, all apartments are fully equipped to offer you a serene stay. In a refined Art Deco setting, inspired by the Villas and Hotels of the spa, all our apartments are spacious and modern. Most of them have a balcony or a terrace offering a clear view on the historical city of Châtel-Guyon or the foothills of the Combrailles and the national forest.

1) The PLUS : -Well located: 10 minutes from the beach. It is appreciable especially in period of heat wave. We can walk there early in the morning or late in the evening - The conveniences on the spot (stores and trade) - the swimming pool - air-conditioned mobile home 2) The MINUSES : - the mobile home At the beginning, it was missing a salad bowl, a kitchen knife, a glass, an ice cube tray I was kindly told at the reception that this would not be deducted at the end of the stay and that if we really needed it, they would make an effort to get it. if we really needed it, they would make an effort to get it. This answer is not worthy of a 5 star campsite. If we have to ask for the basic equipment... Of course, a toaster or a pancake maker would have been a plus but this was not the case. - the animations : they are organized by the animators. In spite of their degree of involvement, this is not equivalent to the arrival of professionals. In most 4-star campsites, there are troupes of artists, magicians, singers and dancers. In this campsite, the entertainers are certainly numerous but no evening of animation is really worth it except maybe for the little ones - the petanque competition : badly organized and many mistakes Even by winning all the matches, we pass in consolation (by mistake). If we win the contest, we win a sheet of A4 paper with the indication of the petanque trophy (but without our name). For a 5 star campsite, it would be nice to have some prizes like petanque accessories and a ceremony at the end with the ranking .... Overall, the campsite is quite good but it is expensive considering the quality/price ratio.

Very good hotel well placed in the city, you can do everything on foot (shops, restaurants, walks, ...) and very modern. In addition, as it is specialized in thermal treatments, you can also enjoy amenities such as the pool, spa or even pamper yourself with a half day body treatment at a reasonable price. The town itself is less than an hour's drive from the main places to visit in the Puy-de-Dôme so it's very convenient. Very good stay for me.
