Located in the heart of the Basque Country in an exceptional and preserved natural environment, Camping Uhaitza offers you the best welcome and quality services in a friendly atmosphere. The Uhaitza campsite is the ideal starting point for visiting the many remarkable sites in our beautiful region: the Iraty lake and forest, the Pierre Saint-Martin chasm, the Kakuetta and Holzarte gorges (the most beautiful in Europe), .....

Stretching along the Saison river, the pitches are spacious and well-defined to provide you with a maximum of facilities (50 pitches in total, from 95 to 130 m²). We also offer chalets and mobile homes of great comfort for rent.

Description of the region
" XIBEROA "
If it is the most typical of the Basque provinces, Soule is also the smallest and least populated, it corresponds to a valley, the valley of the Saison (tributary of the Gave de Pau) which extends from the Pic d'Orhy in the South, the highest Basque summit, to the Hôpital Saint Blaise in the South.
Soule is a mountainous region with steep valleys, deep forests and gorges of Kakuetta - Basque Country, populated by shepherds and their flocks. It is the region of Espadrilles and sheep cheese, of an intact Basque culture, made of traditions, songs, dances, ....
You will love Soule, its hikes, its authenticity, its architecture close to that of neighboring Bearn, its heritage, Romanesque art and typical chapels isolated in the heart of the mountain.
