Located in the Périgord Vert, on the outskirts of the village of Verteillac, 45 km south of Angoulème and 50 km northwest of Périgueux, Camping Le Pontis welcomes you for a stay to discover the nature.
The campsite has :
1 place of 80 m² great comfort caravan,
67 places from 80 to 140 m² leisure,
8 places reserved for motorhomes.
Total 67 places.

Services, leisure and animations
The swimming pool is municipal, it is very close to the campsite, 200 meters without road to cross. It is free for the campers every afternoon. It is heated and supervised by lifeguards. It has several pools and is open from the beginning of June until the end of August.
Two tennis courts, renovated, are available at the entrance of the campsite. They are free for the campers
A minute's walk away, with no road to cross, a very large bowling alley will allow you to play fierce games of pétanque.
The huge advantage of the location of these activities outside the rest and quiet area, besides being free and close by, allows the campsite to keep a great tranquility without the shouts of children showing their enthusiasm or of participants who are inveighing about the validity of a point
A children's playground is available inside the campground.

Description of the region
In the valley which extends around the Dronne river reigns the softness of life, the castles have the appearance of the edge of the Loire, the soothing calm of the water incites to dreaming.
It is enough to join Brantôme, the Venice of Périgord, propitious to romantic escapades. Nearby the castle of Bourdeilles shelters a delicate Renaissance house.
Not far from there is Saint Jean de Cole, one of the most enchanting villages of the Perigord.
Do not miss the cave with concretions of Villars, decorated with one of the rare human representations of the parietal art. Before a swim in the pond of La Jemaye, don't forget to stock up on local products at the Friday market in Ribérac.
Around the village, the circuit of churches with domes will complete your unforgettable wandering in our region.
African tent - lodge - canvas bungalow composed of 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds, cupboards, fan, kitchenette with sink, gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, electric coffee maker, table and 6 chairs, terrace. The sanitary block is nearby.

Family campsite! The photo of the pool makes you think that the pool is in the campsite, which is not the case. A bit misleading :)
